I acquired knowledge regarding different pharmaceutical and therapeutic classes of medication and their side effects, adverse reactions, mechanism of action, interactions, therapeutic levels, and nursing considerations for each. Personal Reflection-This class enabled me the opportunity to use critical thinking and problem solving for medication administration. I learned valuable information on priority assessments needed to have been obtained prior to medication administration. I also gained an understanding of appropriate dosing relating to age, gender, renal function, liver function, and other medication that an individual patient may be on. Through my assignments online I have had the chance to work on various types of homework and learn so many different types of drugs and their functions. I had the opportunity to experience one day a week, how a good design online course felt. Meaning, how the navigation of an online course should be.
