To achieve the above goal managers need to be active in healthcare leadership forums. Besides the two key virtues, there is need for them to have time management skills as experienced nurses. Managers are entitled to a number of responsibilities like supervising personnel and taking care of the resources. The tasks are case management, staff management, planning treatment, educational plans development, mentoring, and recruitment budgeting and managing records. In addition to that, nurse managers are required to ensure the code of conduct and regulation is followed and services are offered based on evidence-based practice. They ensure junior health care providers comply with the federal rules and guidelines that uphold safety in health care. They link facility administrators with the nursing staff (Casida & Packer, 2018). Additionally, they are responsible for translating the goals and objectives of a healthcare facility into strategies that the nursing staff will implement daily. Their role of supervision allows them to educate nurses on the care management and best practices. Adequate resources such as equipment, education, and continuous training are very important in the working of nurses. Continuous training ensures that they update their practices based on evidence and modern trends. In addition to that, most of nurses treatment therapies recommended to treating some condition have been affected by healthcare costs that is likely to reduce treatment. A good on the above line is the case where a patient needs treatment but cannot afford the drugs despite existing policies on treating patients and their payment (Gray, 2020). This forces the nurse to care for the patient in a sorry way of solving the problem and can administer cheaper drugs. Besides, a nurse manager will be required to develop a budget for their departments which will then be sent to administrators for verification. Mostly these drafts of the budget are rejected with a demand to reduce cost in their experience. The nurse manager?s role such as recruiting and staffing, training and team building initiatives are affected by such limitations. Most importantly most regulations and practical based on the evidence recommendations mostly require the use of new equipment, acquiring new skills or improving on the existing workflows which usually needs to be funded (Titzer & Shirey, 2020).
