list the favorite poems

Please list the favorite poems, I will upload the Road Map for previous weeks. I will also upload student’s discussions.

The professor’s required: I liked your favorites list, Doug. I am not surprised to hear you call yourself a Romantic at heart.

We have to remember that plays are really meant to be seen, such as Earnest or Othello. Wish we could all be genuine Romantics and fly to England to watch them performed then visit the pub and talk about them. A major problem I have with the Romantics is that they fail to count in the cost of all these great adventures. Maybe I’m just jealous. Too bad Delta won’t pay for it. The Romantics would argue travel is the only way to learn–along with reading their poetry, of course.

Have you seen the film version of The Importance of Being Earnest with Reese Witherspoon, Colin Firth, and Dame Judi Dench? I think that’s the best one–highly entertaining.
