doesnt need to be too long heres the teachers instructions:
The body needs many minerals; these are called essential minerals. Essential minerals are sometimes divided up into major minerals (macrominerals) and trace minerals (microminerals). These two groups of minerals are equally important, but trace minerals are needed in smaller amounts than major minerals. The amounts needed in the body are not an indication of their importance.
A balanced diet usually provides all of the essential minerals.
This time you reflect on your IDEAL list of food for a day to get the coverage for ALL the Minerals. Determine “What would be good for me for my health?”
SO, this time, please PLAN YOUR DIET, chose your food and determine what minerals were part of the diet that you have designed. Your posting should have ALL the listed macro-minerals and micro-minerals.
1 egg: Phosphorus, Iodine, and Selenium
2 breads: Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Sodium, Zinc, Copper, Manganese.
I am still missing some minerals. I have to add more food to my diet.
It’s your turn now!! Be innovative, find something good for your palate that’s a rich source of minerals also….ENJOY!!
