Unit 4: Prompt 1–American Anti-Semitism

What role did American Antisemitism play in refusal of Americans to get involved in stopping the Holocaust? When, in your opinion, should the United States have entered World War II? Do you think there is any merit in the argument that FDR wanted an American foreign policy that would push Japan into attacking the U.S. Did he perhaps do this because he recognized the dangers of Hitler’s conquests and was thwarted by the isolationism of the American public.
