Profile: Statement of Purpose

After identifying your profile subject, answer the following questions about your subject:

1. What is the most interesting, unusual or important thing you have discovered or know about your subject?
2. What are your own feelings about your subject?
3. What do others say about your subject?
4. Are your and other’s responses to your subject consistent or do people’s feeling about your subject differ?
5. Can you think of two or more dominant impressions you could create to give readers a way of understanding your subject?

Using your responses to the above questions, write a profile statement of purpose that identifies your subject and the dominant impression about your subject that you hope to make your readers see or feel when they read your profile.
