An annotated bibliography is a bibliography in which you write a brief summary (1-2 paragraphs) of an article or book chapter that you have read. Included with this summary is the American Psychological Association (APA) citation for each reading. An annotated bibliography is a great resource given that you will be reading a number of articles and book chapters across multiple domains for this course. This bibliography will be a central place where you can revisit course readings, the main ideas from those readings, and help organize your thoughts as you complete course assignments. Ultimately this cross module assignment aims to support your development on two fronts. First, by creating a running annotated bibliography you will have one document that will contain all of your summaries of course readings. Second, the work of maintaining an annotated bibliography provides a model for the expected academic work you will conduct through your program. This assignment will provide you with a key process for reviewing research in a clear and consistent way and in a format that will further support your work throughout the program.
